Why is so much blame put on Allen Iverson???

he's one of only a handful of players in the last 10-15 years to live up to his billing and actually have a hall of fame career. its alot of nba players averaging double digits...but they are not hall of fame players.

they ask him to score and carry the team, he does that...but they say that he shoots too much..., they say he didnt pass enough...he one of the most unselfish players in the NBA,...now they saying that he has to make the "other players better"...you can put all the weight of everyone's ability on one guy,....its absurd.....he plays for the USA in the olympic, while alot of the other all star players opted not to go, and he doesnt get invited this time...??? go figure...

you cant blame the guy for everything

Why is so much blame put on Allen Iverson???nba referee

Practice is essential, this guy just has no idea what a team is, and because of that he'll never win a championship.

He's a great individual talent, no doubt about it, but individuals do not win championships alone- they need a good team supporting them.

Unless he opens himself up to that idea by attending practice and working things out with teammates and a coach, he's going to be looked at with pity, because he has so much potential that he's wasting.

Why is so much blame put on Allen Iverson???basketball tickets ,nba teams

Cuz thats how it is now a days in the NBA. If your team isn't doing well on a regular basis they blame the guy who is the leader/star on the team and who is makin the most money, in this case, that would be Allen Iverson. Allen can't do it all and it's not like the team around him isn't good, it's solid, but its inconsistent and that costs them games and evidently, costed them the playoffs. He's the official scape goat really, just like Shaq was with Lakers, when we lost in the NBA Finals to Detroit...

Who'd the management blame? Shaq. Whose fault was it? The entire team's for playin like **** and gettin worked, but of course, the scape goat was Shaq, thats how it is, in this case, the scape goat is AI...its a horrible thing, but thats the NBA for you...
In the past, you can blame that A.I. is the only good players in the 76ers. No one can help him. Therefore, it is understandable for his selfish style and losing game stat.

However, 76ers got Chris Webber this year to help him but 76ers still sucks. You know, it's not others, it is Chris Webber. One of the best forward in NBA. Then, 76ers still won't change anything. AI still keeping his 30 times FG per game. 76ers still sucks. The most important is he ruin the career of Chris Webber.
bcuz he a young black man, wit braids, and tattoos.
he's the "leader" dude.who else is to blame???ya can't change that.iverson is the image of the sixers.whatever happens to it.it always comes down to A.I.whether they win or lose.
Allen Iverson is the best!!
He's the best player on the team and one of the best players in the league. When you think about the Sixers, the first thing that will pop up will probably be Allen Iverson. Plus, when people do something wrong, they want someone else to blame.
He's said to be the leader of the Sixers and you can't blame the people that expect too much from him. There are people who just put blame on someone when they lose and when in time of victory the heroics of Iverson are not seen or noticed. The 30+ shots Iverson takes are necessary because he's the one that brings the team to success unlike Bryant who just wants to make a name and dreaming in bringing the title of MJ of the greatest Baskeball Player ever..Iverson is better than Kobe
Beacuse he takes 30 shots every game. So in winning he's a hero and in his team losing he's the villain. Nuff said!
I have no idea. He averages 33 points and 7.5 assists - last year he became the first person to be in the top five in ppg, apg, and spg. His teammates are inconsistent. Korver will score 20 one game and come back with 4 the next. He shot 45% or so from the field but one game he would miss 5 threes and the next shoot 100%. Andre Iguodala was also unreliable, even though he is one of my favorite players. He was much like Korver. John Salmons must be the most selfish bad player in the league. You'd figure when you are that bad you would try to distribute the ball to look good, but he would take it himself everytime. He'd have the ball stolen more often than not. But of all of the 76ers, Samuel Dalembert had to be the worst. At one point, he had missed 5 STRAIGHT LAYUPS/DUNKS. 5. That's inexusable. And every few plays he would be called for a goaltend. After rebounds he would fire his passes into the stands. Constantly fight for rebounds with his teammates, too. And he would foul everyone that came within 2 feet of him. Webber actually had a great year. The only reason that he gets blamed is because Allen Iverson is better and those two didn't really fit. Had Webber been the better player, Iverson would be the one getting the blame.
I dont know its not A.I.s fault is the 76ers franchise they havent done anything to get a good team around him.
