Do you think he'll be on the all-star team? The kid is one of the most talented players in the NBA and would be very entertaining to watch.

He won't be on the All-Star team no. I do agree with you he is one of the most entertaining players in the league, but that being said he's not an All-Star quite just yet. Still needs to improve his jump shot a little more, but the kid is all over the court and is going to make the Hawks happy for years to come
No I don't think so. If he keeps improving, next year could be his year. He has great numbers though, in all categories. If any player that plays for the Atlanta Hawks gets a selection, it should be Joe Johnson.
I would love it if Josh was on the All-Star team. He is a great player. He is the youngest player to reach 500 blocks. He is amazing. Not to mention his awesome dunks. I wouldn't care if Joe or josh made it, as long as one of them makes it!
I think Smith and JJ would take votes away from each other, the team is not having a decent month, JJ or Smith would make it by default someway if they went. Too bad they have Woodbrain for a coach, lol
Borderline all star caliber player but he turns the ball over too much and is always in foul trouble.

I watched a lot of Hawks basketball and he could give you 20 pts, 10 rebounds, 5 assists, 4 steals and 5 blocks a night and then 7 pts, 3 rebounds, 2 assists, 8 turnovers, no steal and no block the other night. So consistency is an issue.

Without looking at team records, I would select Chris Bosh, Gerald Wallace, Caron Butler and Paul Pierce ahead of Smith.
He should be there. I agree with the first post though.

Joe Deserves his second before J-Smoove gets his first.

Josh Smith's nickname should be "Mr. Everything" because he can do it all and yes he should be i mean you cant ignore those numbers.
He is a great player but won't make the cut for the East All-Stars in my opinion
soon, next season at the soonest, but more realistically, two years, give him time to either expand and improve his game ie better mid-range shot, or just get better at what he's already doing damn good at...not this year...
